Calluna cottage is a beautiful holiday home for 6-7 people in Dumfries & Galloway, on the shore of the Solway in south west Scotland.

The house is comfortable and spacious, with outstanding views over the sea and local inlets and islands. Its garden leads to its own private shore.

Calluna cottage is located on a quiet road in Rockcliffe, a small seaside village, with a café and a well-stocked shop a short walk away. The area is perfect for traditional family beach holidays, sailing, windsurfing, golf, cycling and walking. Or just a few restful days watching the tides come and go.

Calluna cottage is newly furnished, tidy and well equipped. It is perfect for holiday rentals, for families with or without children, or for groups and friends. (One of the bedrooms and bathrooms is downstairs so Calluna cottage is also suitable for people with reduced mobility.)

Near Rockcliffe are great days out for adults and for families with young children or teenagers. There are forests, lochs, mountains, castles, gardens, activity centres and open countryside.

Rockcliffe is just an hour west from the M6 junction at Gretna Green. It is a 10 minute drive from the local town, Dalbeattie, which has shops, post-office, chemist, doctors, vets, garages, pubs and cafes.
